Mr Cutler: Er, Cutler, Staffordshire. Um ... well, Mr Chairman, it's just that most of the members in Staffordshire feel... the whole thing's a bit silly.

(Cries of outrage. Chairman leaps to feet.)

Sir William: Silly... SILLY!! (he pauses and thinks) Silly! I suppose it is, a bit. What have we been doing wasting our lives with all this nonsense (hear, hear). Right, okay, meeting adjourned for ever.

I couldn't locate one of my favorite card games. One day, I was playing a certain Splotter city building title and there it was, Lost in Antiquity.

Some e-bay sellers try to ease their guilt of gouging you on overrated big-ticket items with cool-looking, '80s-electronic towers by throwing in "bonus" games. I guess it was worth a Shot in the Dark.

Who'd expect to find Uno inside a shrink-wrapped copy of this? I guess that's One for the Ages.

So you love games but have limited storage space? To make room, you can stack games inside one another, but then you'll wonder where you put your copy of Rubout. That's when it hits you, "Eye, there's the Rub."

Even storing games inside other games has its maximum capacity. An agonizing decision to be sure, but some games will have to be put behind the closet door. But which? The Lady or the Tigris?

You've heard the cliche, "don't put all your eggs in one basket?" Well, you run that risk if you store games inside other games. A friend stored Up Front inside this baby. When it got stolen, he wasn't the only one Up in Arms.

As any married person will tell you, the wife is the only one who knows where anything is in the house. I'll cry up, "Honey, where's my Tide of Iron?" and "Honey, do you know where Tempus is?". She'll yell down with typical annoyance, "I'm on the phone, can you wait just a minute, please?!" "But, dear, Time and Tide wait for no man."

Sometimes you don't store a game inside another, but you find it helpful to keep it nearby. For instance, it's handy to know where there's Smoke there's Fire.

A few stubborn boxes won't fit exactly in another one. They'll keep popping out, uncooperatively. Aggravating! If only there were a way to secure them. That's when you need to get down to Brass tacks.

Someone in my game group had tucked my Cheapass game into one of theirs, the little thief. Like she thought I wouldn't notice! When she went to the bathroom, I dug through all the games she'd brought, and when she came back, I accused her: "You've got Chocolatier in your Nur Peanuts, buddy!"

We never invited Reese back.

When I saw the title of this geeklist, I thought, "Wow, how to combine several games into one big mega-game!". But alas, the list degenerated into some really awful puns (anyone remember Calvin & Hobbes' "pier pressure" strip? My old roomate was like that...but anyway...). Last year, WotC ran an online Axis & Allies tournament, where the organizers played out WWII using both A&A: Europe and A&A: Pacific for the purchasing and strategy moves. Then, the community used A&A: Miniatures and A&A: War at Sea to play out the battles (winner was determined via averages of the reported results).

No puns, sorry. I'd make my own Geeklist, but this is the only example I have...soblue
