I was just browsing through some old game-related stuff I had saved in a file, and was looking at some old games that I tried to get rid of through Math Trades. Now, the games in question weren't really GOOD games. In fact, I never offered them up as games by themselves, since I knew I would need to get rid of them like Congress passes their own pay raises: Tack them on to something more important.

So, this GeekList has a two-fold approach:

1. What game have you offered up as a sweetener that the recipient flat-out declined?
2. What game would you decline to take if offered up as part of a Math Trade offer?

Of course, neither game would be interesting without some explanation, so be sure to tell us why.

I bought this game new, right off the shelf from an FLGS. At the time, I knew nothing about it, other than that it was designed by Michael Schacht, and it was a trick-taking game. So, of course, I bought it.

It turns out that this is his lowest-rated (and ranked) game, and I never could muster up enough interest, either in my fellow gamers or in myself, to play it. I offered it up as a sweetener in a Math Trade from early last year, and even though the winner took my primary game, he told me to keep this one.

I eventually ditched it during my Fire Sale last year. I sort of expect it to show up at the next Geek White Elephant gift exchange.

I managed a trade for Phantom Rummy in a recent Math Trade, and this was offered up as a sweetener. I already had two copies of the game, thanks to Tanga (*shakes fist*), and declined to accept a third.
