A little more room this time so we weren't so crowded! YAY!
And a pretty wide variety of games, as you'll see. Please add any I've missed. No zombie games this time?? And only one train game??
Many thanks for the tips! I just got enough to get my Avatar!!! You'll be seeing it soon when I finish designing it. And I guess there really were more games played this time than in a long time -- this summary geek list rarely gets to a second page, if I remember correctly!

I love this game. And in my second play, I've finally figured out how to finish in the middle instead of last.

Had a good two-player game of this with Avri, then a 5-player game that also went well.

My prototype made it out again for three or four games, that were very interesting and varied.

I saw this one being played downstairs. Sorry I missed out. I want to play it again.

This one was being played downstairs too. I walked by as they were lamenting that you could play with 9, but not all 12 characters!

I played this once before. I forgot a rather important rule at the end of the game which cost me the win.

Avri and David played this one next to us. Looked interesting from what I saw/heard. (Sorry, Erik)

Also saw Avri and Erik playing this one before we got our Arkadia game in.

I've been intrigued by this one, but I haven't played it yet. I heard it was a real-time game, and that scares me. It was being played at the next table near the later part of the evening.

I saw a group downstairs playing several games of this, and I finally got a chance to see the bookcase edition, and I think I'm too spoiled on the 1999 Avalon Hill version to get anything else now.

I think Steef had this out first thing in the evening. I still don't have a very strong desire to play it again. I guess it's just not my type of game. (If anyone can figure that out, let me know.)

This one looked interesting, but I didn't have a chance to do more than glance at it.

I've been really into 3-D games lately, and I finally got to see this one playing next to us as we were playing Arkadia. I don't know how this game is played, but it looked a little more 3-D than Arkadia. Similar castle building blocks in both games though.

My second play, so naturally I'm still figuring out the strategy. Of course, the guy who never played before soundly destroyed us.

We played a 3-player game of my Icehouse game Logger. It's getting closer to completion. I'm quite happy with the new growth rules but Avri's point of each player's score increasing near-equally was more than valid.
I think next time I will allow protested trees to score a point, plus add a protester to your stash. This way, protesters can be used to not only block another player, but have you tactfully steal their points.

Got to play this with Jan and Mike. It was a good game that came down to the wire - much better than playing the original RRT in the space we have.

We broke this one out early in the evening, Phil and I, and coerced Jan into playing with us. I'd been worried by the *very* diverse negative/positive reviews on the geek, and was surprised I enjoyed it as much as I did. Definitely want to play it again some time

Mike brought this out early in the night as well, Jan, Phil, and I joined. Very well designed, but I'm not a huge fan of the "amass one of more particular resource than other people and only you get points" mechanic. Mike plays games I choose all the time, it was his turn I guess :-p

My roommates pulled out this fun card game in the back just before they left. Its a cute little crew-your-neighbour-and-avoid-screwage game that sees a lot of play around our apartment.

This was being played by its designer (Vincent) and Ben.
Vincent, the game looked beautiful -- what a great job you did! Thanks for coming down to our Meetup. I hope you'll be a regular member.

Eric and I got in a quick two-player game of this at the end of the evening. Eric beat me 6-5. Great game, Eric. Thanks for bringing your set!
