Nobody's Dirty Business, by Mississippi John Hurt, 1928

"One of these days gonna wake up crazy,
Gonna grab my gun, gonna kill my baby"

Sounds like "Vendetta" to me.

Mind Reader Blues, Bertha Lee Pate, 1934

"Baby, I can see just what's on your mind"

Never mind what's on my mind: I used to have to be careful that the pattern wasn't reflected in my glasses.

Won't You Be Kind To Me, Hattie Hart, 1930

"Now you kept on a-betting
that the dice wouldn't pass."

I really wanted to use LCR for this one, but the song is actually about someone who lost his money at craps, so I was sort of stuck.

Slave to the Blues, Ma Rainey, 1926

"Ain't robbed no train,
Ain't done no hangin crime"

Now, since the song is about someone who is actually innocent, I was very tempted to use BANG!, or maybe Hangman. But I was struck by the huge gap in game theme here. Play Western is the only game I could find that combines the popular "Train" theme with the popular "American West" theme. Why do you think that is?

Original Stack O'Lee Blues, Long Cleve Reed and Little Harvey Hull, 1928

"Stack O'Lee was a bully, he bullied all his life
He bullied to Chicago with a ten-cent pocketknife"

Are there any games besides Clue and Don't Drop the Soap that have knives in them? I guess Fury of Dracula (second edition) does, but Chicago crime syndicates felt more appropriate to this song (even though it's about a crime of passion).

"If it keeps on raining, levee's going to break."

Big Kudos to Jimzik for his Katrina relief geeklist of the same title.

...Yes, I'm aware of the Led Zeppelin cover.

Love In Vain, Robert Johnson 1937

"The train, it left the station, with two lights on behind.
The blue light was my blues, and the red light was my mind,
all my love's in vain."

I love this game, but I am rarely actually happy when a train leaves the station. I've usually forgotten what token is on it, for example.

Eventually, I end up spending more time avoiding other robots than heading for the flag. Something is not right about this.

Big Road Blues, Tommy Johnson, 1929

"Ain't going down this big road by myself,
if I don't take you, gonna take somebody else"

Ships in this game don't launch until the docks are full. And going by yourself (all 2-3-4 boats of your own color) is a bad idea because you'll probably lose the boats.

Song From A Cotton Field, Bessie Brown, 1928

"No use kicking, I'll be picking till all my children is grown,
then I'll shuffle, skip and scuffle, to have a field of my own."

Actually, I think the word starting with "s" that applies here is "shipping". When are the pre-ordered Agricolas finally going to ship?
