World War 2 ETO in 2 hours? Games which _really_ play in 120 mins

I've always loved the big strategic games of World War II. However, these days, with the demands of job and family, just don't have time to actually play for more than 2 hours with some extra time for setup in advance.

Lots of the games I've come across claim to be playable in 120 mins, but in reality, it just ain't so: I have Axis & Allies (the old edition) & Attack and we're never able to finish a game - even playing longer than this.

So, let's have your suggestions for European Theatre of Operations games - that's the whole of WW2 ETO, not just a scenario please - for gamers in the 2 hour universe. They can be 2 player or multiplayer games.

IMPORTANT: Please ensure these are ones you've played and _know_ play in around two hours - many playing time estimates of such games on the Geek are way under-estimated. For example, World in War: Combined Arms 1939-1945 claims to play in 120 mins, but comments seem to suggest it normally takes 5 hours!

Thanks!

Al Birch

As a starter, I've added Europe at War, John Edward's seemingly simple WW2 game (not the Xeno Games monster), but haven't played it. Anyone else out there know about this one?

Here is another that will most likely go beyond 2 hours, while that just depends upon how well anyone were doing during this.

Comes in right around two hours.

Can't say the same for its more complex re-design, The Big One (http://www.boardgamegeek.com/game/10590), the entry for which claims 60 minutes (!).

2WW partly owes its short playing time to the omission of flexible production rules. Instead, new units appear as reinforcements, more or less on the historical schedule.

This game does what it says on the tin, even going full global, winning this category hands down.
