The crowd was a little lighter than what has been average of late, with about 15 people attending. I was actually there tonight, and think I saw most of what was played. However, if anyone else who was there played a game that I missed, please add it to the list.

Played by David M., Josh, Rich, and I. Rich was the sole newcomer. While teaching him the game, we cautioned him about blocking the easy connect the shrine wins. We all had pretty effective blocked that from happening with the starting board. However, Rich managed to build adjacent to two shrines and to withing one space on the edge. Once he exhausted a stack and added a tile to the board, he was easily able to place one more building for the win.

Played this game with David M., Kevin, Rich, Conny, and Josh. Other than David, we were all playing for the first time. There are some mechanisms in this game that are reminiscent of those in a couple of other Alan Moon games. I really enjoyed this game.

David M., Greg, and I played this for our last game of the evening. Greg and I each got two of the largest caravans, but I was able to cordon off a couple of good sized areas to win the game. Greg and David tied.
