We began the games of the day with a quick High Society while waiting on some other players to show up. In the end, Andrew with a doubler and the 10 had to take a the ?5 card, which really didn?t matter because he ended with the least amount of money as well.

Ross got an early mistress. In the beginning I was planning trying to focus on buildings and grabbed 5 markets pretty quickly. However, from the beginning of the game it was obvious that Ross was going to win. He got a good worker group going and finished with 8 unique aristocrats to dominate the game. This game still consistently gets played around here, but it still leaves me with an alright feeling. Perhaps it is because I always lose.

While St. Pete was going on, Caylus came out. I would go to Vegas with this game and Todd playing it; putting all my money on Todd. If I would have bet on this game, I would have lost all my money. Andrew, who I think it was only his 2nd time playing, was able to get the victory. They played pretty quick with the Provost moving ahead all but one turn.

This is easily my hottest game right now. I am constantly thinking about playing this one. We had a relatively easy year laid out for us, with a celebration coming up in month 3 and both draughts waiting until months 10 and 12. I grabbed a warrior and monk to start off, allowing myself to go first. First turn I quickly took the double dragon. This with 5 palaces helped me score a lot throughout the game. Ross also had quite a few palaces and was trying not to lose any people. He only lost person the whole game on the last turn. Bryan had a hard 10th month, losing three people to the draught. This one wasn?t as close as many of the ItYotD games that I?ve played, but I still think everyone enjoyed it.

Logan took the lead and never let go. Ross, who was last after the first two scorings, was able to make a comeback and finish third by piggy-backing many of Logan?s hunters. So they profited together often. I enjoy this game, though it is not my favorite.

We had a prehistoric theme going for a while, with the other players going with this one. I found it interesting that the Western hemisphere is on the Eastern half of the board.

I got this in a trade about 3 months ago, but have not yet had the chance to play it. Finally I got it to the table! After the North East and the Midwest were pretty much stomped out we went into the MONSTER CHALLENGE. I was Zorb and only had 15 health going in and decided to fight Andrew and his Megaclaw! Thinking that if I beat him with my many infamy markers, I could easily take out Brian and his Gigantis. I lost and then Magaclaw cleaned up Gigantis. ZzEOR!

Andrew ? Win
Brian ? 2nd
Adam ? 3rd

Andrew and I are always up for this game. David was bouncing all over the board. He had different connections in Toronto, Boston, New Orleans, Richmond to Atlanta, wherever he could pick up a quick point or two. Andrew went to Chicago and grabbed the speed train bonus points quickly. My first three turns I upgraded engines and got the bonus for that. I then built in the Southwest and eventually ended up with the most money for the bonus. David was the only person who did not get his RRT bonus. Josh, who had played had to leave early, so he didn?t finish. Brian, after we warned him not to let anyone get the Northeast alone, got it alone himself and won the game. He only took out 1 stock the whole game.

We finished up the night with a game that we thought would not take that long, but with how tired we were it did. I made a bone head move the last turn which cost me 6 points and second place. Andrew just dominated again.
