A lot of the immediate family had a little get together at a campsite, so I thought i'd bring along some fun games and this is just a little session report of how it went.

First game of the evening brought out and it was played out on the picnic table.

Garnered a lot of interests from other kids as well as a lot of adults and even my Grandpa. After reading the rules though, he walked away looking a bit confused.

Played with a cousin who seemed to enjoy it quite a bit.

Played inside the camper so wouldn't have to worry about the components.

Played against the same cousin and let him play the detective. I played handicapped (no escape allowed) and won via a false accusation in round 8.
He liked it but said it involved a lot of thinking, which is most true!

Anyone I can get to play this game and like it I am super happy, because that is just another opponent for me!

Played inside the camper as well. Too many small components to worry about losing otherwise.

Was my first 2 player game experience of this and while not a brain burner was definitely more strategical than with 3 or 4. When that's the case, I always seem to get teamed up on and my players get thrown into the volcano a lot.

Played outside on the picnic table (over a tablecloth) and it was rather fun.

Could only interest 2 other people for this one, so we played 2 quick 3 player games.

It was the first time playing for all of us so no one had a distinct advantage. I won both gams by a sizable margin though.

Love the simplicity, and can't wait to try it out with more than 3!!

Played inside the camper.

Was only played by 3 players, and I enjoyed it immensely.

We were all new to this one as well. The first game was won by my cousin who took the "big balls" strategy and never fled from the cave until he was the last one left. Paid off for him in this game and he won by 8 points.

In the second game, I was called a "sissy" (well it was actually a female cat, but we'll leave that out) for leaving early in 2 caves, but it worked this time as the 2 other explorers met an untimely demise a cardor two after.

Loved it and can't wait to play it with more people!

Played inside and was the last game of the night.

I got the Fan Edition and was a little hesitant about playing with newcomers because of the fact people were saying it is much harder to learn and you should just start out with the original version.

I decided to try it out anyways, and we had a blast. It isn't hard to figure out which type of bean you are holding at all. The only hard part would be the amount of beans is available of each type, but I kept that info out for everyone to check at any time, and it wasn't a real hassle.

I ended in third with 14 pts, 2nd was my cousin with 16, and the winner was my sister with 17.

--------------------------------------
All in all it was a great game night with lots of filler and fun type games which is exactly what I enjoy. When family and friends come together and can have fun playing games, I think it is a great experience.

I hope to have another soon!
