This is the traditional weekly thrift and bargain finds list.
These lists may start empty but as always: add your items.
Put in what you consider a bargain, tell us how much you paid and the place you got it from. Bargains can be thrift store finds or any second-hand purchases or discounted games bought new. Don't forget to add your encounters with the Thrift Store Irritant Squad™ and any other embellishments in order to make it even more interesting.

The Order's Anthem: Sing along with our thrifty theme song...
I did one stop at a thrift shop before picking up my kids who were staying at my parent's house for the weekend. I was there at opening time which landed me this Alex Randolph/Leo Colovini classic.
Incognito for a mere €0.70 and it only misses a red marble. (Replaceable with one from another MB game I have.)
Also for €0.70, this small box Ravensburger in Dutch: "Keizer Koning Edelman". It is complete and looked interesting enough, so I picked it up as well. But that Inkognito find made my day since it was one of my minor grail items.
Found this one for $1.99 at the friendly local Value Village. Looks interesting. The central obelisk is a little worse for wear, but everything else is complete and in excellent shape. Great minis!
Goodwill. $1.49. I've wanted this one for a while due to the theme. Have not had time to inventory, but rattling the box, it sounds like a lot of components.
Goodwill. $0.99. Complete and unplayed. The money is still attached to the pad. I know....it's still Monopoly. But, it may not take as long to play as the traditional game.
It was a beautiful weekend, and garage sales were everywhere. I hit as many as I could. For 3.00 I got sparkly water tiles (all of them!), almost all of the tiles except a couple single/double tiles. Most disturbing was that I was missing the dragon, BUT I have her wings, so she couldn't have gotten far. Also I'm missing a few squad figures, like one army guy, samurai, and Matrix fig. May also be missing the robots, don't remember right now. Valk was missing her base. I don't know if I can find the single figs to these reasonably or not besides another thrift find. I'd almost suggest a GG pot for one of these older sets, very well played, BUT complete! They always seem to be missing something. I did have all the dice, runes, markers, etc. amazingly. I think the figures must make their way out of the games as separate toys, and never migrate back before thrifting.
Found one of these at thrift in between garage sales, heh. I haven't played this in years. I'd sold off my two towers set a while back, so I'm glad to have this again. 3.49. I didn't count army figs, but looks complete and box and bits are pristine.
Thrifted this for 3.49. It has 8 cool METAL minis, including Darth, Emperor, & Kenobi, Skyscrapers of Coruscant. The game board is also 3D injected plastic. This has to be the most overproduced monopoly ever. I don't know if it changes up the basic game or not, but if I'm going to play monopoly, it might as well be this well done.
I was surprised to find this Knizia in a local store. Don't find non mass market games very often. I got it for $2. I love the over produced carniverous fish and polystone starfish bits in this one.
Richard Borg designed this? That's a pleasant surprise. I've heard several favorable comments about the game, so I picked it up from another sale for 1.50. After reading some reviews, the play sounds quite similar to the new TOMB game that just came out. It was worth it just for the awesome dice. These are going to have to find their way into some other heavily themed games.
Same sale was this deck of "Redemption" cards. I guess this was a CCG? I haven't really looked at it. My copy of Settlers of Canaan had a few promotional cards for this game. They threw it in with the other games I bought at this yard sale. So, I guess free?
French publisher Tilsit, so is this technically a Euro? Heh, don't know. Same yard sale. .75. Looks like a light card driven race game I've never seen before. At first thought it was a reimplementation of the Ravensberger Snail's Pace Race, but I'm glad to see it's not the same preschool game. It has 6 race tracks, cards and 6 wooden snails. I like the wooden snails.
It must have been time to dump ALL the games, as they also had a complete boxed copy of this, also $1, which I felt was reasonable enough, so I didn't quibble.
Since I was snapping up yard sale detritis, I grabbed this from another sale for $1. Someone has said these are eBayable(tm) I don't know why they would be, I think they're still at Target for $30, but then maybe the price is why. Still it has a neat huge d20 with letters I could always load in a slingshot in a pinch.
Four player checkers with a cool vinyl matt and 4 colored chips. Maybe this will be more fun than regular checkers? I kind of doubt it, but for $.50 I'll try it out...someday.
Yard sale for $3. It looks like a fun or maybe just frustrating dexterity game. I can barely eat with chop sticks, much less fight over game bits with them. I guess I could jab someone in the eye with one stick while hand grabbing the other. I'll have to check and see if that's allowed in the rules.
