Ok its not new but I need to find a good 2 Player game or two.

Mr. Jack
To me this is the holy grail of Two-Player games. I really enjoy this one, if I got stranded on an island this would be the game (besides maybe a deck of cards) that I would have to have.
A couple of games that I won't include are Lost Cities (never saw the point, played just like rummy with crazy scoring). Cold War: CIA vs KGB (might be a good game but my fiance' didn't even want to try it)
Mainly I would like some comments about two-player games that I list and please feel free to add some that I may have missed.
Thanks in advance for the help. Other games that we like or own and didn't make the list The Da Vinci Code Board Game: The Quest for the Truth we loved this game and had hoped for an expansion but it does not appear that will happen. 221B Baker St.: Sherlock Holmes & the Time Machine Another one we really enjoy. Super Scrabble Really improves one of the great games.

Have wanted this for a long time. Really seems to be in the mold of Sherlock Holmes with plenty of expansions.

I recently noticed this game is it worth it? Does it play well and not get stale?

Everything says it should be a good game but I just want to see what ya'll really thought.

This seemed to include most of the Bang series. Again like it? Hate it? Simple to learn?

Seems nice and simple, quick play. Does it get old though? Do you get tired quickly or is it more like dominos that you can play over and over.

I will only include the first. I realize its not designed for just two people but I have heard it doesn't play to bad with just two. Thoughts?
Which versions are the most enjoyable?

Again not designed for 2-players but I do have a 4 year old that tells me he loves the zoo so much he wants to live there some day...trust me we have thought about it at times. Which expansions are essential any info would be much appreciated.
This is probably high on the list, to be purchased soon.

Wow didn't even know this existed till I did some random search. Looks to flow well with my Mr. Jack theme. Thoughts?

Like the sound of the game, how do you like it?

Wow, what a name...any takers.

If CIA vs KGB didn't work can this? How tough is it to learn?

Another game I know little about but am willing to try almost anything once...within reason.

No idea...looks busy. I have my doubts unless someone has great review.

Or any of the other 10 day games. Is any better than another?

I admit this is too obscure and almost no copies exist but I wanted something to end the list for now until you all can help me out.

My wife and I like this one quite a bit. One could make the analogy that this game is to Stratego as Mr. Jack is to Clue.
Pretty short (~30 minutes once you have a couple plays under your belt), if that's a selling point (I know it is for my wife).

One of the three games, along with Mr. Jack and Lost Cities, that my wife requests most often. I own the travel version, but unless you need something travel sized, I'd just say go ahead and get the regular version. You can still play the "travel" 2-player game by blocking off the outer part of the board, and it can also play 4 (though not so well with 3).
Blokus Trigon evidently works well with 2, 3, or 4, but I haven't played it.
It is a no-luck, no-hidden information abstract, though a really pretty one with delicious, candy-like pieces (warning: pieces are not candy).

I must admit that I've not played it. But I heard it was pretty good with 2 people.

Jambo is a wonderful two-player game. It takes a few games to get familiar with the cards but after that... two-player excellence. My wife enjoys this one.

I see you've decided against Lost Cities, but that shouldn't dissuade you from seeking out Knizia other card game for two. Battle Line is a tense game that plays relatively quickly.
Don't let the military theme turn you off, it's just a card game and the "battle" is over 9 flags. The theme really just contributes card art and names for the poker-like hands you can create. My wife immediately loved the game.
Try playing Schotten-Totten at http://www.flexgames.com/ to see if you enjoy the game. Battle Line was a re-theming of the game and they just tweaked a few rules.

Cheese Chasers is a SOLITAIRE OR MULTI-PLAYER, FREE PNP card game that I designed, takes 1-10 minutes to play. Printable on 3 pgs of 8.5" x 11" (that includes the pocketmod rule booklet). It can be played Cooperatively OR Competitively.
The objective is to surround the Cheese Cards while breaking the Mousetraps, and keeping away from the Cats. The catch is that players have to place the next card off of the previously placed card. If you have three unbroken Mousetraps out at anytime the game ENDS, and your score is ZERO! So even in Competitive play, players must Cooperate.
Cool thing is, it all fits in a wallet.
