User Suggested Number Of Players - Sorted By Number Of Players (Top 350 Games)
- Ideas Man(IdeasMan)
If you have Agicola and want to know what the best numbers of players for the game are, you just have to look here: Agricola.
But what if you have 3 players and some games? Which games are good/best with 3 and which should you avoid? This List aims to solve your problem.
To qualify for inclusion on this List, a game must have at least 2 manufacturer-recommended numbers of players, such as 3-4 or 2-3, or even 1-2. All 2-player games are excluded from this list as they are only listed as being suitable for 2 players - games such as Twilight Struggle, Hannibal: Rome vs. Carthage, Paths of Glory, and Battle Line.
Only the Manufacturer suggested numbers of players have been used when constructing this List. So, even though Pandemic can be played as a solo game (and is recommended as a good solo game by users), only the official 2 to 4 players has been used when creating entries for Pandemic on this List.
Best means that most users think this game is best played with this number of players. There may be 2 or more "best" player numbers.
Good means that most users think this number of players is best or recommended.
OK means that there is a balance of opinion between this game being good or not recommended for that number of players - approach this game with caution for that number of players.
Avoid means that most users don't recommend playing the game with that number of players.
This List covers the Top 350 games as of 21st Nov 2008. (I'll add more games as time allows.)
(I was sure this List had been done before, but I couldn't find it, so excuse me if I'm retreading old ground.)
