Funagaingames grant winners and the games we bought with our grants!

Jeff Q- Pepsi4Me2- and I were awarded the funagaingames educational and outreach game grants for the month of October.
We both get $100 in free games with free shipping to support our gaming efforts (mine in my classroom and his with his group of gamers).
The application was easy and they still have a number of open slots left for the coming months so it should be quite easy to get one.

These are the games we have decided to get with our grant money...

I picked up this card game as the students in my classroom seem to be playing cards games much more than in previous years. I have only played it once and that was a while back, so it will be nice to get this on the table.

This will be my second copy for my classroom. It gets played often enough to warrant picking up a second copy of the game. I teach in a school with a significant Hispanic population that actually follows professional soccer, so this game sees a ton of table time.

This is my blind purchase and the third of my three games. I don't know anything about the game, but I'm hoping it will fit in our Saturday school gaming. I was going to get Tinner's Trail, but decided against it.

This is the first of Jeff's choices. I have never played this game and am not sure if it would fit in the time frame of my classroom, but I am now interested in giving it a play or two. I might try to pick this up in the future.

With the Vexation expansion.
I haven't played with the expansion, but I have the game in my classroom. My students will usually play one or two rounds, but rarely will they play the full game.

Jeff's fourth choice and another game I have in my classroom. It is a great game with a larger group of gamers. My students play it once every two months or so. It's a huge hit around Halloween.
