I don't know if this has ever been done for a GeekList before, but for one, I'm far too lazy to find out, and two, I like the idea so I'm going to do it anyway.

The idea of this is to create a fun, ongoing story using a different game for each part. What you do is this: Read the story that has so far been made, pick a new game and make an entry. Use a character, setting, or event from that game to continue the story. The next person will continue and so forth. To get things started, I'll do the first two.

Please only do one entry at a time, and be as creative as you want!

Amanda was confused. But more than that she was scared. Scared out of her mind at some of the things she'd seen in the handful of hours since the chaos had broken out. She had been studying in the Misk U Library when she had heard a commotion by the front desk. A young man, identifiable as a fellow student by his university jacket, was speaking hurredly in a loud, shaken voice to the desk librarian.

He was trying to tell her that she and all the students should leave the building. When she asked what the reason was, he would stammer out a broken sentence about 'the things coming through'. Amanda passed him off as just a rowdy student, probably drunk, trying to cause some mischief, until she heard the first noise.

It sounded animal, but somehow different and strange. The sound started as a low, grating howl and developed into a dissonant shriek that seemed to multiply as it reverberated through the library. Amanda didn't know if it was the volume of the screetching, but it seemed to have a dissorienting affect on her and she had to grip the edge of the table to steady herself. At this time the student at the front desk began yelling, saying that everyone had to leave now. He looked like death was chasing him, his eyes were crazed and unfocused. Amanda didn't move until a thunderous crashing came from the shelves behind her, jarring her from her stupor. She leaped out of the desk and ran towards the front. The young man and the librarian were walking backwards to the front door shouting for everyone to evacuate. Amanda sprinted past them out the door and into the front lawn of the building. It was night out, and the darkness was made more severe by the fact some of the street lights seemed to have been knocked out.

Amanda turned at a wet, scraping sound coming from her left, towards the side of the library. Her entire body locked in a rigid state of fear at what she saw. A heaving mass of glistening black flesh was pulling itself slowly towards her. She couldn't make out a distinct shape or even size due to the darkness, but it didn't matter, she knew she had to run. She ran in the oposite direction, to the other side of the building, but as she rounded the corner she could make out another similar shape, crashing through the brush in that direction. She screamed as something took hold of her wrist. As she spun to face it, she saw that it was the young man from the library.

"They're everywhere, I think the whole campus is surrounded." He yelled to her.
"Where do we go?" Amanda stammered, fear gripping at her voice.
"I saw some people running towards the back." He replied, jerking his head in every direction, keeping an eye out. They ran straight along the side of the building to the back, through a thick garden and were stopped by something even stranger than the creatures out front. In front of them, in the center of the garden was a giant shimmering void, with edges that gave off an erie glimmer. It's surface seemed to mirror the ground, but in a twisting, distorted way.

"People went through that thing earlier, I saw them," The young man said in a hushed, worried voice.
"You can't expect me to go near that?!" Amanda yelled in disbelief.
"I don't think we have much of a choice, those things are everywhere." He replied. This statement was immediatly validated by a trashing sound coming from the bushes where they had just come from.
"Just walk through it, I'll wait for a second for anymore students!" Amanda knew this was crazy, beyond crazy, but in the heat of moment she didn't see much alternative. She swallowed hard, clenched her fists, and walked towards the glimmering portal.

There wasn't much sensation as she walked through, just a disquieting feeling of not being in one place. It was still dark, but the air seemed cooler and moist. As her eyes adjusted, Amanda discovered she was now standing on a cobbled street lined with close-knit buildings and a few gas lamp-posts. She looked behind her and was shocked to see that the mysterious portal she had walked through was no longer there. She tried not to make sense of it and focused on discovering where she now was.

Amanda headed down the street, determined to find someone, anyone, and was still warry of the creatures she had encountered at the library, though she noticed there was hardly any sound to be heard on the street. As she passed a narrow alleyway, an arm shot out and gripped her around the shoulders, another hand clamped itself over her mouth and muffled a startled cry.
"What in the hell are you doing out at this time?!" A hushed female voice said in Amanda's ear. The hands released themselves from holding her and she turned around to see a short girl, roughly her age dressed in a long green cloak.
"What do you think you're doing, you scared me half to death!" Amanda demanded.
"Shh! Are you daft woman, we can't let him find us!" The cloaked girl whispered.
"Who can't find us?" Amanda asked, temporarily forgetting the events leading up to this moment due to the girls intensity.
"The Ripper, he's on the prowl in these parts. Do you live under a rock?" The girl replied. "Never mind, I know a place we can lay low in. Follow me." The girl beckoned for Amanda to follow her down the alleyway. Presently, they came to a small wooden door with no markings at the end of the alleyway.
"In here, quick." The cloaked girl said, opening the door and standing aside for Amanda to enter.
