Vin Diesel
When he's not to busy conquering the universe as a nihilistic ex-con or racing exotic cars in illegal street races, he likes to roll his dice.
Yup, 30+ years of D&D under his belt.
When a paper covering the premier of "Clone Wars" asked whether he would be a Jedi or a Sith, Vin Diesel responded "I'd be Chaotic Neutral." Yeah, he took a geeky question and upped the ante by about a magnitude of 1.000.000.

Billy Ray Cyrus
Before he was most famous for being the dad of "Hannah Montana" star and delicious jailbait Miley Cyrus, he toured the country a lot.
And in the back of the band-bus he kept his Spellfire cards. As he said in an interview in the mid 90's "A nice way to kill off hours of boredom going from A to B".

Jessica Alba
A self proclaimed "gamer nerd" she prefers computer games, but doesn't shy away from a game of apples to apples, or other party games if given a chance. At least if we should believe her own blog post back in 2007.

Humphrey Bogart
As an avid chess player at the top end of the amateur ranks he often would suggest working a chess play into the movies he starred. Rumour has it he was the one to suggest the famous chess-scene in Casablanca.

Okay, had to revisit D&D.
When The Chronicles of Riddick was made, Vin Diesel had a lot of input on the fantasy aspects of the movie. (Did I menton Vin Diesel is a HUGE D&D geek? ) Among other things he came up with was the "air elemental" race played by Dame Judi Dench. And to quote Vin from a interview with ugo.com:
"I was literally playing Dungeons and Dragons with Judi Dench and Karl Urban at nights after shooting. I will tell you that I was showing her Dungeons and Dragons books and showing her the different properties of Elementals."
Does a few D&D games make you a gamer? Well, fun anecdote anyway!

Quentin Tarantino
On the Grindhouse lanet Terror DVD Robert Rodriguez mentions in an interview that he is often over at Quentins playing board games. I also read in the book Shooting From The Hip - the biography of Tarantino that he collects games and plays them with actors when he is casting.
I'm guessing he'd be into "Ameritrash" rather than "Euros"
Thoughts?

Anyone who was famous in the 70s played, it was just the thing to be seen doing.
but more recently there's Tobey Maguire ("Competitive doesn't even describe him," says his friend and fellow gamesman, film director Morgan J. Freeman. "He's intent on annihilating anybody at the table. It gets even worse with backgammon, the game of choice. We've had some 12-hour sessions of pure mental warfare."), Joaquin Phoenix, and Kate Winslet.
And then there's the bit on the Danish Royal Family. I'm told that a TV show on the family included a full 7 minutes of a game between Queen Margrethe II and Prince Henrik, in which she calls him "a lucky bastard."
(I say that as if I've never been in a backgammon game where that hasn't been said.)

Numerous Wrestlers seem to have a gaming past.
Among those I could confirm is Raven which have co-written several RPG-modules and similar stuff for White Wolf Publishing, and Chris Jerico which in his own blog told about fond memories playing D&D as a youngster, and how he picked it up again when a neck injury kept him out of the ring for nearly a year.

When Decipher started making the Star Wars CCG, they were allowed to embelish the background of several persons and items in the movies. But as it all was going to be canon, everything had to be subjected to Lucasfilm for approval,
Now the story from Decipher goes that the final approval came down to George Lucas himself, who asked to be teached the game, so he could understand how each card would interact, and give advice on keywords and interaction.
Now that is more of play-tester than gamer, but it would seem he has a gamer at heart as the game is complex, and you would have to play quite a lot to get the full hang of it. It should also be noted that Lucasfilm allowed the player community ruling body the right to make virtual expansions to the game even after Decipher lost the rights. (and Decipher allowed them to use the game mechanics). The virtual expansions would be alternate text to existing card, which the players could print, paste on the original cards and use in tournaments.

Candace Bailey
On the May 4, 2011 episode of Attack of the Show, Candace Bailey said that this is her favorite board game. Based on the ranking here, I'm guessing she's not a gamer, per se.
