Everyone has a favorite game, or at least a favorite way that a certain game can be broken down into statistics. This is a chance for the number crunching geeks in our midst to step forward and show off some of that geekery. List the statistics of your favorite game or games, be they personal or group stats, to show off your number crunching skills or just to brag.

Battlestar Galactica is currently one of my favorite games, if not my favorite. I've been able to record with detail the statistics of most every game played since getting my copy. We've played with every variation of 3 players to 6 players, but most of our games involve a core group of 4 players.

So here is a breakdown of the four of us, including the number of times we've each been a human or a Cylon, our overall win/loss records and our wins and losses on each team.

Me:
Cylon: (11/18) 61%
Human: (7/18) 39%

Win: (11/18) 61%
Loss: (7/18) 39%

Cylon Win: (8/11) 73%
Cylon Loss: (3/11) 27%

Human Win: (3/7) 43%
Human Loss: (4/7) 57%

Jessica:
Cylon: (5/18) 28%
Human: (13/18) 72%

Win: (7/18) 39%
Loss: (11/18) 61%

Cylon Win: (3/5) 60%
Cylon Loss: (2/5) 40%

Human Win: (4/13) 31%
Human Loss: (9/13) 69%

Mike:
Cylon: (5/18) 28%
Human: (13/18) 72%

Win: (9/18) 50%
Loss: (9/18) 50%

Cylon Win: (4/5) 80%
Cylon Loss: (1/5) 20%

Human Win: (5/13) 38%
Human Loss: (8/13) 62%

Craig:
Cylon: (2/8) 25%
Human: (6/8) 75%

Win: (3/8) 38%
Loss: (5/8) 62%

Cylon Win: (1/2) 50%
Cylon Loss: (1/2) 50%

Human Win: (2/6) 33%
Human Loss: (4/6) 67%

So, what I take from this little statistical breakdown is that I am a Cylon a very disproportionate amount of the time. In the long run, this hurts me because no one trusts me when we play. And, statistically, why should they?

Our overall win/loss for Cylons and Humans is:

Cylon wins: (12/18) 67%
Human wins: (6/18) 33%

I still consider this game to be very balanced and not favoring the Cylons, since the human learning curve is much greater and so the first 5 games or so were Cylon victories before we figured out what to do as human players. Taking in account that curve, it's much closer to a 50/50 split.

*None of these statistics include the game were we were all dealt human loyalty cards in the first round and then pounded by 5 Cylon Fleet cards and died after we lost the last of our population trying to make an early first jump. In that one, the game won and we all lost, giving the game itself a win ratio of 1/19, or 5%.

Our same group's statistics for Dominion. My wife and I play this two-player a lot of evenings instead of watching teevee, so we have more face-to-face plays than the others in our group. The game is also relatively new to us (we got it at the very end of January), but its found a lot of plays since then:

Me:
Win: (12/33) 36%
Loss: (21/33) 64%

Jessica:
Win: (20/33) 61%
Loss: (13/33) 39%

Mike:
Win: (1/11) 9%
Loss: (10/11) 91%

Craig:
Win: (1/2) 50%
Loss: (1/2) 50%
