So, after some thought, we decided to run.a small publisher (i.e. this excludes Rio Grande, Mayfair, Days of Wonder, etc.) contest every month at Starlit Citadel. The winner would get a free copy of the publisher’s game and the publisher gets exposure to all our customers. There's no cost to the publishers, as we are purchasing the games ourselves.

As a way to promote this, we thought we'd create a Geeklist for the publishers / designers to add the games themselves. If you're interested, please note that you will need to meet the following criteria:
- have distribution in North America.
- have your game listed on BGG

When adding your game to the list, we would request that you:
- indicate the MSRP and theme
- provide a brief overview of the game and selling points
- provide release date in North America (if not released)
- if possible, provide a suggestion for the contest

Final decision on which games to promote are ours of course.

Strategic Space is a publisher of family strategy games in New York City established in 2007. Our first three games are:

4th Corner (MSRP US$14.95) is a maze-themed tile-laying game that won Top Toy 2008 from TDmonthly Magazine and ToyDirectory.com. Players lay a tile to expand the maze and move their pawn through the maze each turn, trying to be the first one to exit when the exit appears. Compact, travel size, it's so simple, it can be learned in 5 minutes, but the strategies are deep, and the variations in play keep the game interesting for 2-8 players, age 8 and up.

* If the company logo were made out of 4th Corner tiles, how many turns would it take to move from the bottom of the S to the exit at the top?

Deer Hunter 2050 (MSRP US$19.95) is set in the year 2050, when radical animal rights activists have released dangerously strong and intelligent mutant deer into the wild, and players play hunters bringing in their quota to the Fish & Game Bureau before suburbia can be terrorized by the crafty beasts. The game uses a unique mechanic for combining strategy and humor, and it is a great game for 2-8 players age 10 and up.

* Find the best news story of a deer attacking a human.

Zombie Attack (MSRP US$19.95) allows players to play both the humans trying to escape the deserted mansion and the zombies pursuing them. The first player to find a key and get out wins, and weapons and hiding places may be found as well. If any player gets caught by a zombie, they become a zombie and try to keep all the other humans from escaping. Great theme with the popularity of zombies, especially during Halloween, and can be played with 2-6 players age 10 and up.

* Best zombie look (makeup and costume)

Our forthcoming games: Samsara, Star Hopper, Master Spy

I never played the game. (you guys never have it in stock) But I heard rave reviews about this game. In fact I am the one that asked you to get the game.

The game is simple, fast (15 min), and small. Talk about a game that I can play with my girlfriend with a moderate strategy, the possibility of surprise wins and simple rules. sound like Memoir 44 but smaller and somewhat better.

A game where you need to make your little cavemans prosper while they often get eaten by dinosaurs. The prospect is wacky and fun. The possibilities of trashing the other players are high and the game seem to be tons of fun. With its medium lenght it look like the Ameritrash version of Agricola wich may mean a bit less strategy but certainly more fun.

Seriously you only need to read a review of it to really crave the game.
