I just received Goa in a trade, and when I opened the box, I found that everything fit perfectly in the insert. There are places for the tiles and the cards, a tray for the spices, and even individual compartments for the group of round bidding tokens and the first player flag.
There is a tray for all the different types of chits, and then a plastic cover with perfectly-sized indents that keep the counters snug in their assigned compartment. Truly the best insert ever.
Now if only they could find a way to keep the pirates from jiggling around and getting stuck underneath that tray...
I've always liked the Mystery Rummy: Jack the Ripper box. It's a nice, compact box with two wells for the cards, and it comes with nice little ribbons that help lift the cards out.
There isn't a good picture with the components in the insert, but this one rivals Jamaica as the best insert I've seen. It has a nice spot for that cards (that is deep enough for all of them,) a little pocket for each tiki head, and even a little spot to stand up the four player pawns. Great production on this game from Gamewright, including on the insert.
The Cranium folks may have created a game or two that gamers hate, but they definitely got some things right, and one of them was packaging. This insert is perfect for the components included. Everything has a spot and there's really no room for things to shift around.
