Alright, you could say that every game deserved to be fully sleeved. But there are some titles which need this more than others - especially if you tend to shuffle the cards a lot.
On a connected topic - how come all the non-standard sized cards have sleeves that are very hard to get? Of all my games, maybe 4 or 5 have Magic the Gathering-sized cards, all the others have the smaller format, and finding sleeves for these can prove to be a pain...
Well, anyway, type your ideas.

Ha, this game could use some sleeves... high quality ones, too - all that constant reshuffling... But buying 500 of those? Damn...

Ok, again - lots of shuffling. And the cards are so beautifully designed it's simply a darn shame to use them without the sleeves...

Well, I consider these cards one of the most beautiful in a game. And especially the Loyalty cards deserve some sleeves - you're supposed to tuck them under your character cards...

After each play, the germs and viruses on the unprotected cards just mock me. Plus the greezy fingers just kept messing up the nice finish.

I know some people like to run out a deck before reshuffling, but that seems messed up considering the chaotic nature of this game.
So we play the way I feel the game was intended, a full reshuffle every turn.
That makes for some serious wear.

The character cards are shuffled and chosen by players every round, and it's totally important that no one knows what other people have. It doesn't take many games until a card or two get some kind of nick, bend, or mark on the back, so card sleeves are pretty much a must for the characters if you play this game very much. It's not really a big deal if the district cards get marked/worn though.

A game where it's very important to not know who placed which card - it really screams for card protectors. At the same time, these are unusually large cards...

Some of my friends have sleeved up this game. I chose not to and now with the Race for the Galaxy: The Gathering Storm expansion you can totally tell which set the card is from. They are the perfect size for Magic the Gathering sleeves, but now the sleeves need a coloured back due to the ware of the cards. If I had just sleeved them from the start I could of used clear sleeves which are a lot cheaper. cry

The game that sleeves were invented for. So much shuffling and if you play a lot like I do, then sleeves are great.

So many cards and they very small. I have chosen not to sleeve these cards, but due to being held some of the ink is now a bit smudged. People have been posting ideas on how to sleeve this game, but just too much effort and money.

The cards contain boxes to mark off the damage your characters/mechs take.

Obviously, you'll want to sleeve the cards before writing on them. surprise

Beautiful cards with dark borders call for sleeves, but most of them are too small to fit in any kind of sleeve I can find.
