In the last decade, I've been designing games that can be downloaded and printed out. A few of my print and play games have been published commercially. (The two published in Pyramid magazine are no longer available.) Others are available for free. Here is a list of the free ones, along with some commentary.

I originally tried to get this published in a games magazine, but had no luck. So I made it available on my website.

This was published commercially as a $5 download. Disappointingly, some of the feedback was rather savage. It's now available for free, though, so you can decide for yourself.

In 2002, when the game was new, I was an active member of the Epic Duels YahooGroup; we came up with lots of neat print-and-play expansions. I may be stretching to include this, but I made a number of maps and extra decks. They are available from my website. I especially recommend the droid factory map, the Lando/Lobot deck, and the AT-ST scenario.

Grudgematch began as an Epic Duels variant; instead of a ball, players knocked around Han encased in carbonite. Eventually it became clear that the ideas really belonged in their own game.

Taking my cue from a Monty Python sketch, I rethemed the game to be about philosophers playing soccer and reworked the rules to use a standard deck of cards. I released it in 2006 to coincide with the World Cup.

I originally designed this deck of cards in 2003 and invented a couple of games for it. I released it for free in 2008 when I realized I wasn't going to do anything else with it. That has turned out well.

As other people got excited about the Decktet, I got back into it myself. There are now over twenty games for it, many created by people who I've met online only because of the Decktet. Thanks in part to the recent ArtsCow sale, lots of people have copies.

This was created for a contest here at BGG. It uses paper dice, like Fortune's Colony, but fewer of them. The three dice are nontransitive, which is a gimmick.

In November 1999, I bought the game Starbase Jeff and got to thinking: What would a solitaire version be like? The result went through various names until I settled on Ambagibus (which means "about mazes" in Latin). I also developed a multi-player version, which requires one deck for each player.

The design was declined by a couple of game companies. Then years passed. Finally, I released the solitaire version as a print-and-play game.
