Board Games on top of Trafalgar Square. What would you play?
- Catherine Short(cj1582)United Kingdom
An artist in the UK is looking for over 2,400 volunteers to be part of a living statue on Trafalgar Square's fourth plinth starting from the 6th July. These people will be on the plinth for an hour each over 100 days and are allowed to do anything they want, as long as it is legal. So doing the math it looks like there will be one person on it at a time being watched by onlookers day and night.Recommend
The fourth plinth is the location for specially commissioned art works and stands high up over looking the square.
Sounds very interesting and wacky. I am very uncreative and was wondering what I would do if I was given an hour. Then I thought about playing a board game. Of course it would have to be a solo board game, unless you can take someone on with you, and the time constraint means that set up, playing and packing up would need to be just under an hour.
So here is a geek list on solo games that are possible to play in the time limit. Feel free to add your own suggestions.
PS: It will most likely rain, even though it is in the summer, and you could be playing in the dark. Full story: http://news.bbc.co.uk/1/hi/england/london/8009236.stm
