As suggested in the first geeklist, I'll show you some happy numbers. But since there are so many happy numbers (of course, it's so much fun being a number, although there are always some discontents!) that I decided to concentrate on Happy Primes - and not all of them at that!

The Happy Numbers:

Wikipedia wrote:
A happy number is defined by the following process. Starting with any positive integer, replace the number by the sum of the squares of its digits, and repeat the process until the number equals 1 (where it will stay), or it loops endlessly in a cycle which does not include 1. Those numbers for which this process ends in 1 are happy numbers, while those that do not end in 1 are unhappy numbers.

A happy prime is a happy number that is prime.

As of June 2007[update], the largest known happy prime and the twelfth largest known prime is 4847 × 2^3321063 + 1. The decimal expansion has 999744 digits: 1844857508...(999724 digits omitted)...2886501377.

So, without further ado, here are the HAPPY PRIMES*

* those below 100 at least, I'm lazy. If anyone is interested, feel free to add more!

GameID = 7
7^2 = 49
4^2 + 9^2 = 97
9^2 + 7^2 = 130
1^2 + 3^2 + 0^2 = 10
1^2 + 0^2 = 1

As they say, 'It's good to be the king!' And especially when you get to build a cathedral, it makes the king so happy.

Superstitious people (here in Iceland at least) knock on wood and say: 7, 9, 13 to ward off bad luck when talking about something they want to happen / succeed.

The publisher should've done that - there are no happy fans yet!

see #7, 13 gives the same result as 130

The unlucky 13. Well, if you roll 13 while playing The Settlers of Catan you're really unlucky! The odds for that are really bad - no matter how much the odds are off according to some people.

The fans don't think it's unlucky though - there are 76 77 fans of this game.

1^2 + 9^2 = 82
8^2 + 2^2 = 68
6^2 + 8^2 = 100
and 100 gives the same result as 10)

What to say? A game where you try (if I've understood it correctly - haven't played it) to destroy opponents buildings but try to keep the outhouses doesn't sound happy to me. Maybe if it was a really great outhouse. Made out of the finest wood with no splinters.

No fans here either - although they might be handy in the outhouse...

2^2 + 3^2 = 13, so see above

It's a divine number alright - playing in a fantasty world, trying to seize power. Who wouldn't be happy about that? Well, there's one fan of this game at the moment, let's see what he says about it:

31 gives the same result as 13

Not such a hot game apparantly - but in this thread (named: This game sucks!.....But not anymore!) big__rhino posted a variant which could improve the game.

No fans despite this improvement!

79 gives the same result as 97, see above

The first non-fantasy wargame on the list with one fan now (stating he's the #1 fan!) - and since I could understand what he wrote this time, I decided to edit the header in his style... but how come that he doesn't own the game? Well?

The second non-fantasy wargame, this time with a solid fanbase of three, GROGnads again this time. Takes place in ancient Rome, and players will happily fight each other until the last one is left standing. I assume he'll be happy about that.
