A list of games played by the first official meeting of the Brazosport Board Gamers (BBG). For now, we are going to try meeting once a month at the Lake Jackson Library. Our emphasis tends to the more strategic Euro and AT games, but may include some minis like AT-43 in the future. At the present we have a whopping two members, but hope to see that increase soon! If you care to join us, send me a message or add a comment.

Members this week were:

Craig (pctex88)
Waylon (fee_weasel)

The first game played by BBG! First time to play for Waylon. Our random layout featured every attack card and no moat! The BGG promo cards were not in play either. Craig was able to fend off the curses and buy most of the provinces to claim the victory.

Craig's first time play of this popular game brought by Waylon. Game was played with easy difficulty, with four epidemic cards in the deck. It seemed easy as we were able to find all four cures, but as it turned out, we didn't have much time to spare. Score one coop win!

Next was a practice game of War of the Ring. We had both just read the rules days before. After about a 30 minute setup, Waylon took the Free Peoples and Craig took the Shadow. We managed four or five turns until time was called. We did manage to try out most all of the elements of the game in the shortened time. We definitely look forward to a complete playing of this in the future.

Ratings:
None given since this was a practice game.
