The Express Line: What's Next?
- Thomas Heaney(theaney)United States
Well, first it was Hasbro with their whole Express Line of Games which even snagged my wife who purchased Sorry! Express which I assembled for the family and promptly lost somewhere in my game closet. [Darn thing was too small and too misshapen -- doesn't fit as a bookshelf game, doesn't sit nicely on top of Monopoly or The Farming Game, and rolls around in the closet. Hopefully, it will show up some day.]Recommend
Anyway, Felbrigg Herriot took the concept to a new level with Dune Express which has sparked much interest with other BGGers getting on board with new graphics and maps and dice and Artscow options. Very cool.
But what's next in the Express series of games? I can certainly think of a number of games that are too big and too long to play all the time, but I still need my game fix. So, here are my modest proposals for other games that need the Express Treatment!
[Note: Obviously, this is tongue in cheek, but I'm also serious here. Feel free to add your nominees.]
