After the intial deluge of frog jokes for the list 4253 (at http://www.boardgamegeek.com/geeklist.php3?action=...id=4253) our trained frog laughter specialists have narrowed the entries to the top 6 (in the manner of Spiel de Jahres).

Where the same joke was submitted by more than one person then the entry which was timed the earliest by boardgamegeek was selected. Many thanks to all who submitted a joke.

Best of luck to all finalists...in addition to the prizes (see below) they will be credited with the joke on Leapfrog's website at http://www.fragorgames.com/ in the near future.

**update** jokes added 16 September 2004 !

Q. How many frogs does it take to paint a fence?

A. One. You just have to spread him REALLY thin.

A drunken man is sitting at a bar, and says, "Bartender! Another drink." The bartender shakes his head and says, "No you've had enough. You're cut off."

"Well," the drunk says. "How about if I show you something cool? Then will you give me a drink?" "Sure," the bartender says. "But it better be really good."

The drunk takes a tiny piano and bench, and a frog out of his pockets and sets them on the bar. The frog sits down and starts banging away, playing a beautiful song. Impressed, the bartender immediately gives him a drink. The drunk downs it, and orders another.

"No way," the bartender says. "Now you've really had enough."

"If you give me another drink, I'll show you something even cooler," says the drunk. With a dubious shrug, the bartender agrees.

The drunk pulls out a rat, and sets it next to the frog on the tiny piano bench. The frog starts banging away again, and the rat sings beautifully to the music. The bartender is amazed, and gives the drunk another drink.

A man who had been watching all this comes up to the drunk and says, "You've got a million dollar act there. I'll give you $500,000 for them right now."

"Not for sale," says the drunk.
"Ok, $500,000 just for the frog."
"Nope."

"$500,000 for the rat."
"Deal!" the drunk agrees. The man pays him and leaves.

The bartender says to the drunk, "What did you do that for? You broke up a million dollar act!"

"Not really," the drunk says. "The frog's a ventriloquist."

Aldie was walking home by the bayou. He heard a small voice "Help me, help me!". Looking down, Aldie saw a frog. The frog said "Please help me. I'm a beautiful princess. I was turned into a frog by an evil witch. Please, just kiss me and I'll turn back to a princess."

Aldie thought for a moment, bent down and picked up the frog, then put it in his bag and walked on. "Hey, hey" called the frog, "what are you doing? I said if you kiss me, I'll turn into a princess." But Aldie kept on walking.

The frog called out again "Okay, okay, if you kiss me, I'll turn into a princess, and...you...oh dear...you can have whatever you want!".

Aldie walked on. "HEY! STOP YA PUNK! WHY WON'T YOU KISS ME!" Aldie got the frog out and looked at it. "I'm a geek, what do I want with a princess?" he said. "But a talking frog, that's cool!"

True story.

A frog went to a fortune teller. The fortune teller looked into her crystal ball and said, "You are going to meet a beautiful young woman who will want to know everything about you."

The frog said, "That's great! Will I meet her at a party, or what?"

"No," said the psychic, "Next semester in her biology class."
