We both like [Gipf] better than Zertz. - Chris Arvin (Reiner)

I would rate this game higher than zertz, dvonn, and tamsk as far as depth. - Justin Johnson (JustinJ)

[Dvonn is] not *quite* as good as GIPF, but close! - Allan Mertner (amertner)

[Dvonn is] easily the best aside from Gipf. - Jason Breti (jayzen)

I still like Gipf better [than Dvonn] since there is an initial piece placing phase in Dvonn that slows the game down. - Chris Arvin (Reiner)

Interesting game, but after about 4 plays [Dvonn] doesn't seem to reveal the same depths as GIPF, TAMSK, or ZERTZ. - Chris Farrell (cfarrell)

[Dvonn] misses the genius of GIPF only for being slightly less open to more creative play. - Thi Nguyen (rorschah)

I think gipf may be deeper [than Zertz] but [Zertz] is certainly no slouch. - Craig Viau (Craig Viau)

[Yinsh] may overtake Gipf as my favorite in the Gipf series (no small feat, that). - Stephen Glenn (Stephen Glenn)

[Yinsh is] a little more strategic than DVONN and ZERTS and on par with GIPF. - Jody Ludwick (jody)

[Tamsk is] not quite as good as Gipf or Zertz but still a very good game. - Craig Viau (Craig Viau)

When compared to the great games that are Gipf and Zertz, [Tamsk] looks like just an average abstract game when played without the time pressure, and a highly innovative game which I don't feel comfortable with when played with the time pressure. - Alan Kwan (Alan Kwan)

My favorite of the GIPF games, if a bit pricey. - Greg Sorenson (Greg Sorenson)

Interesting game, but after about 4 plays [Dvonn] doesn't seem to reveal the same depths as GIPF, TAMSK, or ZERTZ. - Chris Farrell (cfarrell)

[Zertz is] possibly tied to being my favourite of the Gipf project with Tamsk, though Zertz is more "fluid and variable" having more replay value. - Nick Stables (pusboyau)

For now, giving [Yinsh] the same rating as Gipf (not as high as Dvonn or Zertz). - David Molnar (molnar)

[Yinsh is] an interesting abstract game but not as original or satisfying as Dvonn or Zertz. - Stephen Michael Hickey (Steve99)

YINSH certainly succeeds as another enjoyable game in the GIPF project, but still can't touch the sheer elegance of ZERTZ. - Kevin Nunn (kgnunn)

[Yinsh is] by far the most original game of the Project Gipf series, though ZERTZ is still my favourite. - Stephen Tavener (mrraow)

I prefer 3 other Gipf project games (Dvonn, Zertz and Yinsh) to [Tamsk]. - William Herbst (latindog)

The beginning can be different for every game yet is quickly over unlike Dvonn. Although I love Gipf also, it can be a little chaotic due to the amount of change on the board that can come from your opponent's move. Yinsh doesn't suffer from this. Yet it does have enough uncertainty to not suffer from analysis like Zertz can. - Chris Arvin (Reiner)
