I want to die peacefully in my sleep, like my grandfather . . . not screaming and yelling like the passengers on his bus
The first video game I ever owned, c. 1987. Played it on my Tandy CoCo 3. The computer looked like an extra thick keyboard and the game cartridge looked like a small 8-track tape that you actually stuck into a port on the side of the computer. It's still up in my attic. I think it had 8kb of memory.
This is the game I immediately thought of...perfectly sums up the spirit of optimism and consumerism of the 1980s: Race through life trying to buy up as much useless stuff as possible. Ah, the good old days.
