A couple of weeks ago we had a geeklist called Enough!!!(http://boardgamegeek.com/geeklist/45681) devoted to the games and series that have had too many expansions and revisions and themes and, so help us, the shark had been jumped already!

But let's be honest: for every game that's been expanded to the breaking point and every series that's become an exercise in monotony, there's another that leaves us eager for more. Maybe it's an expansion, maybe it's a new edition or a new theme, but you're either excited to see it released any day now or hope against hope (and the odds) that it may actually see the light of day.

What's left you hungry for more?

I was fortunate to fall for this game shortly before the Rebel v. Imperium Expansion came out, so my learning curve has been an embarrassment of riches as each expansion was added on. Needless to say that the very mention of a new expansion has my friends and I champing at the bit.

I think I speak for a lot of people about Pandemic: I played it enough times that it started to pall. It's still fun but after enough plays it feels ever so slightly done. Hopefully the new roles and the bio-terrorist had enough twists to what is a very impressive game.

Another game that feels a bit played out, less because I have a strong grasp on the strategy but that the iterations can be overwhelming after a while. We haven't played with Spy AND Harem AND Secret Chamber AND... and I don't know that I especially want to.

But I am curious.

Munchkin is the red-headed step-child of BGG, I know (Possibly only Killer Bunnies ranks below this. Or Fluxx), but if Steve Jackson announces a new set with a truly compelling theme... I'm weak.

And speaking of Steve Jackson, Revolution's been hitting the table a lot at my FLGS and it's a pretty fun game for all that it hasn't quite come together for me. Yet.

But a fifth player, maybe? Possibly a few more roles?

My friend Rob met Steve Jackson during PAX and... well... it could happen...

Cosmic Encounter is a game open to several expansions in my mind. Especially one allowing for at least one, or more, additional players. Adding new Aliens species, artifacts, etc. is of course a given.

While the game doesn't need any more board (big box) expansions, I would never say no to more investigators, Ancient Ones, and especially Guardians and Heralds (we do everything random, and since there aren't a lot of options for Guardians/Heralds, we see each of these quite frequently).

Additionally more items, spells, skills, mythos and encounter cards could be good if done well. Something that ties expansions together well, and makes less frequent cards/mechanics come into play more (like exhibit items, allies, and corruption cards), or otherwise improves on them (the original exhibit items are, in general, fairly uninteresting).
