America does 'em, but also curious to see what other titles I've missed here, as well as what other countries think about them, if they've even heard of them, let alone have their own.

I think my first one I participated is this one, done by McDonalds (seemingly) every year or so. McD's rakes in the $$ already, but I know people who go into a buying frenzy because of this contest. No purchase necessary would've been good for them to read in the fine print. Also amusing are the sparks on internet forums making deals if someone can send in their missing Boardwalk or Park Avenue piece so that they can get in 50/50 on the million $$ prize. It never ceases to amuse me, which I suppose could make me 'worse' than those folks.

Subway has their hand in this. Got Facebooked by a friend to send in any pieces people may have leftover. This I do remember Subway doing before, as it's hard for one to NOT recall the commercial where someone who's soo excited about winning screams it out loud while spitting... no, spraying soda from his mouth all over some little girl. But that's OK, she didn't mind, as she was smiling and all happy for the dude.

Rite Aid is currently doing this one. Similar to Monopoly and Scrabble.... when you get specially marked pieces, you moisten them and affix them to a special board. This one is the most vapid of the 3, as it's just some images from the board game and nothing else. No part of the board is there, not that I'd imagine it'd be easy to fit that whole thing onto a small pamphlet. Going to Rite Aid can be a cheap way to buy snacks for my game groups, so we'll see how far I can delude myself into coming close to winning something meaningful.
