OK, I am not one-hundred percent certain that I am not misunderstanding the purpose of the "Become a Fan" function that sits up at the top right of each game's page in the database, but I am thinking that it's a function that on the whole isn't seeing a lot of use, as whilst there are countless games in the DB that have dozens of 10 ratings, endless threads arguing their merits, etc., the vast majority of games show a very low number of 'Fans.'

This is a shame.

Furthermore, ladies and gentlemen, there are games out there, good games, honest games, games that we have played and loved countless times, that have no fans at all.

A great shame, indeed.

I am moved today to ask you on this geeklist to go out and find such an orphan game, and become it's first fan. Think how happy you'll make that game. List it here, and encourage others to join its family of fandom.

Together we can make the world a better place, where every game -yes, even those crass, mass-produced commercial crap-fests- has it's cheerful army of judgement-free cheerleaders.

I love this game! Played it more times than I've logged, played it with children, old people, spouse, colleagues, friends. It's a great game that has made me very happy. I love the thick grey plastic board that looks like some kind of trashcan cover. The chunky tiles that you can click together impatiently whilst waiting for your oponent to make their move...

And it is a good game! It is a deep and satisfying take on Tic Tac Toe, that takes 5-10 minutes to play, and which as far as I know is not 'solved' or 'broken'.

Rubik's Tac Toe (or Rubik's Magic Strategy Game, as I know you), I am proud and humbled to be your first fan.

A very simple dice game. You need two dice, a sheet of paper and a pen. It has a 3-sentences-long rule set. You can't even re-roll the dice. Still it's full of hard decisions. It's a great dice game! And no fans yet? Not anymore. Katego, I'm your first fan!

My favorite set of medieval miniatures rules. Typical armies are around 20 bases, games play quick and give good results.

The original version of this Napoleonic miniature rule set (I don't have the new Shako II set so I can endorse it - it has two fans anyway). I've played a number of Napoleonic miniature rule sets in my time and Shako is easily my favorite. So I will be it's one and only BGG fan.

I am it's only fan. It's a great game especially if you enjoy a meta game like Hoity Toity

It's all about being able to work out what the other players will do and taking advantage.

I tried to big this game up before, and someone commented 'It's a rubbish game, everyone just the same thing as you all the time', sorry not if you are any good at the game.

Main other complaint is that the event cards are too powerful, but everyone gets a chance to play them so I don't get that one.

Although they are not alike I think people who like RoboRally as well as Hoity Toity will like this game.
