Why you don't let your little brother be the graphic artist for your game

I have a soft spot for bad game art. They're a sign of earnestness, of people determined to get their game on the market, come what may. Can't afford thousands of dollars for professional graphics art? No problem, the game's the thing!
Of course, I also enjoy bad game art in a Mystery Science Theater 3000 way. Like the unintentionally hilarious game box photos, they're just plain fun in their own Ed Wood-esque way.
Here are some of my faves. Please feel free to add your own.
