So I am on a current 5 suit deck card game kick and am wondering what other games I could play using 5 suit decks of cards. I know a few and will list them here. I am hoping that there are plenty of interesting ones out there to try.

In order to get the "best" ones visible I will sort this list by rank.

Note: This list is in no way an advertisement for "you don't need to buy these games just get a deck of cards." I own all that I have submitted, except Haggis. It is just nice to be able to take one deck somewhere and be able to play multiple games with it.

Uses 5 different colors. Must remove the aces but they can handily be used as the place markers for the different color expeditions. The face cards become the investments or handshakes.

Also uses five suits when playing a 3 player game. The 2-10's are shuffled as the deck and one set of face cards is given face up to each player. No aces are used.

Blatant self plug but we've been enjoying this game so who cares. It is also the reason I created this list. I made a 5 suit deck of cards from two decks I found in the market for 500 shillings (25 cents) to test play it. I've been trying to find other card games I can use this deck for as well.

Not sure if it's the sort of thing you're after -- four suits (cups, coins, staves, swords) of 14 cards each, plus a 21-card trump suit (usually called "major arcana" nowadays), with the Fool as a sort of Wild Card.

I'm not normally a fan of trick-taking games, but having a permanent trump suit that's bigger than a normal suit adds some interest for me.

The game if fairly uninteresting, but it does contain a suit of Stars in addition to the regular four suits.
