SurreySupport comes in many forms: community involvement, forum posts, submitting data, running PbF games, word-of-mouth advertising, financial donations... All these are vital to this site, and you have my sincere thanks for participating in any of them.Currently: planning.
How unsubtle of me; I've used the lure of GeekGold to tempt you into doing some work. Well, it's true.Recommend
RPGG has a multitude of periodicals in its database, but not all of them have representative images yet. For some, it's because there are no linked issues at all. For others, it's because their linked issues have no images.
I've already taken out many of the easy ones, where an obvious picture can be cropped from an existing magazine cover in order to create a periodical logo. But there are many more outstanding that need a bit more research to find and scan the issue covers.
And, of course, for every image accepted by GeekMod, you'll earn yourself some .
If you are doing the work to create a periodical logo, you may wish to post it as a comment to the appropriate item so that others do not duplicate your effort (or beat you to the upload before you're done).
This GeekList will be periodically cleared. If your graphic is accepted as the representative image for a periodical, post that as a comment to the appropriate item in this list. I'll then delete the entry from the GeekList.
If you find a new periodical that has been added to the database but does not yet have a representative image, please add it to this GeekList. Items should automatically sort alphabetically by title.
