In an attempt to clarify the road cycling game I designed in 2005, Road Cycling Tour, I made a few picture tutorials. This is a list of those tutorials. Perhaps more will be added later to explain further details.

Road Cycling Tour (RCT) is a free PnP road cycling simulation intended to focus on team tactics. With track tiles representing different terrain, any stage in any race can be simulated. There are different rules for normal stages, time trials and team time trials. Riders have different characteristics that are determined before the game starts. Some riders may specialize in sprinting, others in mountain climbing.

Note that most of these tutorial will make little sense if you haven't read the rules first. These tutorials are intended as additional explanation/clarification; not as replacement for the rules.

Explanation - with two examples - of the gap closing rules. Perhaps the most complex rules in the game, but also among the most important.

These rules are intended to simulate slipstreaming and have as their most important effect that (large) groups of riders/cyclists are faster than single cyclists or small groups.
