I think most of people here once got a game on his birthday or bought it when it was on sale and stored it in the closet and never tried it. Here is a list where we will put games we own and never tried.
Give us advice to have fun on our first play.

Got a deal on that game. I wish I could have taken an "Explain game rules to non-gamers 101" class. This game looks great, but since I play all my games with non-gamers, I don't know how to introduce them to a game I don't know myself. Also I play with French speakers and the copy I got is in English.

Bought that game when I was really into Axis & Allies and Shogun. The world map is huge and the rules looks terribly complicated. After seing the poor rating here I think don't want to play it at all. Is playing Tic-Tac-Toe better use of my time?

We bought this, very excited, right when it came out...but now it just sits there, unplayed. The basic game is so fun, that we just haven't spent the time to figure this one out....not that I havent' tried.......

I read through the rules to High Bohn Plus. There's sort of two expansions in one here (it seems), each with a really twisted set of seemingly difficult to remember rules. Now, maybe that's just my own misleading perception from scanning the rules...but I tried twice now and just remember my brain hurting....LOL...guess I'll have to be in the right mood.

The Bohnaparte expansion, on the other hand, seems more straight forward. Though, High Bohn Pllus just might be one of those things that once you really learn it, you think, "hey, duh, this is simple"....

Anyone pick this up yet?
