The dices are used as moving pieces, instead of random number generators.

This game consists of three mini games. In Circus Maximus and Hanibal Vs. Rome each player has a set of cards numbered 1-5 which they must use each card for either movement (in CM) or combat (In HvR) and then refresh the hand of cards after all have been used. The third game (imperium) may have a similar mechanic, but I haven't read the rules for that one yet.

Players use cards for combat, but each player starts with the full complement of cards, so there's no luck of the draw.

"Escape" played with the Sigma Playing Cards. The game is played using cards (albeit unusual ones) but each player starts with a pre-defined set, visible to the opponent, and has to select what order and where to play them to attain a pre-defined goal (escape for white and capture for black).

Though the cards are unusual there are other games playable with the set that do have an element of chance ("Nine" for example).

Never played, but one commenter on BGG says that the claim on the side of the box, "An action game governed by dice, with no luck involved" is very true!

The game with the most dice ever (281!) - and only dice - on a triangular board. 60 games and the offer to invent more and more.

No dice-rolling included
