Hmm.. I'm afraid I didn't keep track of scores for this game night but it was our first. It wasn't a very big turn out but we did get a few games in. We played from about 4 pm to 7 pm. We're planning on doing another but (as they say in the TV business) moving to a new day and time. Feel free to comment on any of the games we played. This is also my first geek list so, bear with me. :-)

So, we started out with this. Players included myself, my girlfriend's son Anthony, and the store owner Jamie. Jamie had never played and I think he might have been a bit skeptical at first but I think he enjoyed it once we got into it.

Anthony had the magic carrot. Unfortunately for me... I had no bunnies left in the bunny circle at the end of the game but I had most of the carrots. They were tied in Kaballa Dollas so I just had them roll a dice to see who gets my carrots. I believe Anthony won that roll and therefore got all my hard-earned carrots.

For our second game of the evening I introduced Jamie to Ninja Burger. There is a lot of flavor text on the cards that are supposed to be read so that everyone playing can enjoy the hillarity of the game but a lot of the times this was skipped. We still enjoyed playing though.

I had the cat lady ninja, Anthony had the ninja that gets to re-roll a failed skill check once per mission, and Jamie picked the tall ninja that if he gets a hold of the lamp shade (a ninja gear) he automatically succeeds any stealth(?) checks.

We got off to a a really bad start and had the three turns before causing disgrace to the franchise rule not been there, we would have all lost. Thankfully we managed to pull our combined honor high enough to not cause shame to the franchise. In the end though... we were so low in honor that our branch manager had to commit suicide. I believe Anthony's ninja had the highest honor at the time (honor 4) and therefore his ninja became the next branch manager.

The final game of the night was Mag-Blast. I had never played this game before (for me that will be the case with most games which is one of the main reasons I started this game night, so I could play some games I had never played before). Jamie picked this game out for us and the three of us played. I enjoyed it quite a bit once I finally grasped the rules (it wasn't too difficult).

Anthony front loaded with a dreadnaught equipped with a duel cannon and I forget what else he had on his ship but it was really mean. This put a big target on him as that ship was pretty mean. It only took one round for Jamie and I to destroy it and at the time he had his left flank exposed so we made quick work out of him.

Jamie and I dueled it out for maybe two more turns. I played an asteroid belt that prevented enemies from attacking me until the end of my next turn. That gave me one more round to try to arm myself with the weapon blasts I needed but in the end Jamie's carriers with fighets tore me up and killed me.

I would have loved to play again but unfortunately we had to leave for the night. Needless to say, I'm looking forward to our next gaming night.
