I can't paint. So how did I miss my ideal solution?

Games using miniatures.
They are my most favourite type of game but I have always suffered becuase I cannot paint these lovely figures. My efforts are so bad I am much better suited to leaving them all unpainted.

But then without my realisation the solution to all my problems arose and I missed it.

Below is a list which asks If I had the foresight at the time what I could have used with the figures. This does not take in to account the cost involved nor what I would do with all the unpainted figures. I tend not to think that far!

Please add other examples of games which would benefit from prepainted D&D figures.

Prepainted minatures with smallish bases covering all the basic fantasy types.

This is such a brilliant solutions but I missed out. I remember the game coming out but I didn't make the mental leap until very recently. I could buy in now but the original set is long sold out and the latest sets contains monsters of such varied and odd dimensions. I need the classics.

Woe me.

I could have used them for:

So what other games would benefit from these figures? Well the only other I am familiar with is this one.

Not that I own it so cannot comment on what would be needed.

This one comes to mind. This game uses small custom warbands as well, which should allow you to use many of the human and hero type D&D minis.
