Matt and JD got into a border war in the South, and Zip (Greece) ended up with 12 tax and bought the pyramids. Turns out we played the cards wrong and the game was nowhere near over, but we decided to call it anyway. All thought the game would shine with 5 players. Next Con this is a must play.

The first three players went right to the newly placed tiles, so I went to the stationary temples to build them up. J.D stole one and capped it, and I could never get a Temple next to those for the easy takeovers near the end.

Cool game, but needs expansion. We also decided we liked the tournament rules better, build the map first. Takes some of the luck out of it, although it also takes some of the screw your neighbor out of the tile placement.

Would shine with 6 players. I got screwed on one deal where I added a bunch of allies and my partner (JD)compromised me. The next time JD played big and I joined in for the game winner.I guess his guilt got the best of him or he shouldn’t have asked me to join.

Cool two player. Took us a while to get it, and matt ended up with a reversal to get the same terrain on the last three cards. I see now that game is short enough that flipping the magic way card doesn't make sense.
