OK, We see alo of thrift store finds. I hope to help consolidate these along a concept of having an open list that people can start (it doesn't have ot be me) where people post there finds for the week. Tell us the great (or maybe not so great) games you found a home for...

I only bought the 3M version of Acquire this week for $4. I passed up a copy of Shadowlords, many copies of great condition Operation, and a few copies of various Harry Potter games. Light week... So what did you get? I am not sure Acquire is worth it for me personally, may turn around and sell it. But I will probably give it one play at least...

Best thrift store find yet. In very good shape, MB version, but it does have two pieces missing. Got it for 3 bucks!

I did my sweep of Topeka on Tuesday, but this was the only semi-worthwhile game I found. $3 at a thrift shop. The Topeka stores have yet to yield much for me, so I don't go to them so often.

Board Game: Bazaar

I found the Discovery Toys version of Bazaar at a shop I had never been to downtown on Thursday; unfortunately, it lacks all of the gems, but those are replaceable. In addition, I found a Goren book on Bridge, an O'Reilly book on Perl (Camel book, 2nd edition), and a back issue of Metropolitan home - for a total of $2.00.

Not 100% thriftstore finds (my runs turned up empty) but at my FLGS (or however that goes) I saw a copy of this for $10 in a stack of game in the owner's office. I said I'd take it after seeing it on the Geek and also being a huge AH fan. I opened it up at the counter and it was a 1981 edition completely unpunched, hell the rules clearly haven't even been opened you can tell. Now I'm torn between keeping this and playing it or selling it. A horrible choice. This might count for this list. And this list is also a great idea!!

Found this last Monday. All the pieces, board in great shape, box lid split along edge. $1.99 . Can't wait to play it!

Two dollars at the GW. Thought I scored big until I got home and read the scathing comments on the Geek. I'll at least keep it we have a chance to play, and will certainly use the Westbank mods.

One dollar at a thrift store. What a sleeper! We played with three to a "cats" game and immediately started the next game by unanimous and wordless agreement.

My best find to date for 99 pence (less than $2). Since it wasn't my thing, I ebay'd it for a whopping £35!!!

I saw a copy of this for sale at "Second Hand Rose" near Virginia railway station in Brisbane Australia last weekend. I think it was $A5. Probably still there, if you can get to the store.

Not the best game, but damn... it sure brought back the memories when I saw it sitting there on the thrift store shelf.... $1.07 (why 7 cents???)
The box is in better shape than the one I had in high school and the internals are un-punched... I almost HAVE to put this on E-bay... but can't.

I was so psyched when I saw this! We have Formula De mini and love that game, so I thought this would be a good addition. It was the 1963 version--love those dashboards and little metal cars!!
Games at this thrift store and few and far between and when they do have them, they sit forever on the shelf. $.50

Scotland Yard. I already have a copy. Why did I buy another one? Does someone here want it? I doubt I could get much in a trade. I would ship it to you if you pay for the shipping.

I left this at the store, because I already have a copy and it didn't look complete. But then I saw that Blackwind was looking for parts. I thought I'd pick it up, mail some tiles and make a complete game. But I was wrong, it was a complete copy. So, I mailed the whole thing to Blackwind and he paid me the shipping.

I was so excited when I saw this. I remembered it well from saturday morning cartoons. It was in the original box, with the original sales receipt taped to it.

Just got back from GW. Found this right after I was about to give up looking at their poorly stacked games. Looked in good condition and complete, plus I saw it was a 3M game so I snaged it. Just got done checking it out here on the Geek and it looks like its was a good buy, and all its missing is one d6 so pretty good shape I must say.

$1 for 36 six-sided dice and a bunch of embossed poker chips? Oh, yeah.

Missing about half the dice but 99 cents for a bunch of six-siders? I think so. (Plus they have that cool star as the one) I have two complete copies which are nicer but how can I say to to a bunch of yellow dice with purple spots?

AH version of Twixt, pieces still sealed in bags. It's sad to see an unplayed game that's good.
