The GMT/MMP demo area at the 2005 WBC
- Tony Nardo(trnardo)United States
Hidden in the bowels of the cavernous Lancaster Host, in the twisty passage known as the Paradise Terrace, lurked an array of GMT and MMP demonstration games.Recommend
Not many people were aware of this demo area. Most of the time it sat relatively empty, leaving the playtest copies as mere Shadows of Things That Might Yet Be. And yet, some people did pass through it, as the scheduled demos always seemed to have a quorum.
This list is a salute to those games that braved the isolation and found players.
I've listed the GMT games that were out on display on Friday (8/5). If anyone can add any other titles that were demonstrated in Paradise Terrace on any of the other days (GMT or MMP), please feel free to do so. (But let's keep it to the games shown in the Paradise Terrace - the ones that were demonstrated in Cafe Jay had no shortage of visibility!)
[DISCLAIMER: I am the developer on one of these games. However, I do not have a financial interest in GMT, or in any of these titles.]
