One of my favorite games is Maharaja, and that has made me strongly desire another Kramer and Kiesling game. But most of them have seemed a bit too fiddly and non-thematic for me to really justify adding to my collection.

Looking back through both of their individual games, I found Goldland. The rules seem like they might have the simplicity of something like Maharaja, while also retaining a thematic foundation that I personally like in a game.

The game is out of print, and there isn't a lot of information about it. It would be nice to see it played before hunting down a used copy.
