A (seemingly) medium-light game of bidding/ worker placement designed by the Prospero Hall team (designers of Horrified).
Players are start-up airline companies in the time between 1927 and 1968, operating alongside the famous Pan Am Airways, whose stock they're after to win the game.
Use your workers to outbid the competition for landing rights and more and newer planes, so that you can expand your routes across the globe. Use the income earned from expanding your routes and selling them off to Pan Am to buy Pan Am stock (VPs).
From reading the rules I got the impression that the bidding mechanism is similar to Cyclades or Lancaster (What's that called? Simultaneous auction?) I know bidding isn't supposed to be working too well with two players, but perhaps it will work here?
