On upcoming Brian Boru : High King of IrelandQuote:A cut-throat game of power-brokering and intrigue in eleventh century Ireland designed by award-winning designer Peer Sylvester. Ireland is awash with would-be kings, power-hungry pretenders, and self-professed rulers. The provinces are in disarray and the common folk are paying the price. The land is in need of a leader. In Brian Boru, players strive to unite Ireland under their domain, securing control through might, cunning, and matrimony. Join forces to fend off Viking invaders, build monasteries to extend your influence and gather support in the towns and villages throughout the land. To become the High King of all Ireland, you will need to navigate a web of shifting alliances, outmaneuver your enemies, and grab history by the reigns.

He has designed or co-designed 3 of my top 10/20 games and done some other interesting designs too.
Two designs out this year and not much is public about either of them. Neither theme is terribly gripping but Polynesia probably wins out. Also interested in the Village Garden one too. Osprey always work out being good value for money in terms of price to components/gameplay and always seem well developed.
Need to know more before any decision is made.

1. The Convention
In the meantime, it is in the database: Peer Sylvester and Günter Cornett`s new game Discover India, shown at the Queen games area.
Discovering new games (or countries) seems to be as intrigueing as being fun.
