The Pirate Podcast all started at Origins 2011 when three mischievous Dice Tower contributors decided to record an episode and usurp the regular cast. With a little (very, very little) technical legerdemain they were able to break into the regular Dice Tower podcast.

With a world full of gaming podcasts laid before them, these scoundrels have banded together and will not rest until they've boarded every gaming podcast on the market. In the meantime they will spend their time drinking beer and talking about cons, games, and the people who play them. (see I just stole that line! Arrr!)

The Boardgame Piratecast comes out every two weeks with special segements being released intermittantly. Look for new episodes every other Monday. We discuss all sorts of tabletop games including board, card, CCG and minis game on all kinds of themes including particularly war, drink and loot.

The resident Pirates are all sometimes contributors to The Dice Tower and are regular attendees at major gaming conventions.
