You're Wrong About is a great podcast that usually looks at recent history and explores misperceptions. We find it it rewarding to challenge our accepted interpretations of these events.

The General sub-forum is for discussion of episodes only, please. Look for a thread about an episode before you start a new one. Follow the format in 001: The Satanic Panic. Leading zeroes, links, summary, etc.

Some topics arc across numerous episodes, like The O.J. Simpson Trial and the book club episodes. Try to contain conversation in one thread.

Let's use the Off Topic sub-forum for anything else.

1. Listen to the episode: don't participate in a thread if you haven't listened to the episode
2. Be focused: the point of this guild is to listen to YWA and discuss it with each other
3. Be nice: pretty dang easy to understand and do
4. Be sympathetic: everybody is going through something, so let's all cut each each other some slack
5. Be a good conversationalist: no monologues, no flooding, no demands, no fisking
6. Be willing to change your mind: given the topics on the podcast, this isn't the community for you if you don't want to change your mind

There are other places on the internet where you can do your thing. Don't insist on doing it here. This guild presents no barrier to your enjoyment of YWA or your ability to express yourself... somewehere else.
