I started designing this game in 1980 as a sophmore in High School. By publication date, I had a girlfriend whose father owned a printing press for his chemical business. Ironically, I used up all of his plates on the interior pieces so the covers for the books had to be photocopied.
The original white box was a stationery box. Since this was colorless and mostly empty, I changed to a blue folder with a label and added red text to the cover.
The primary design mechanic in this game was an Action Point system based on character level and quickness. Tasks had different point requirements based on the weapon size etc. The hit allocation system was very detailed.
I made very few copies. (one or two hundred?) I still occaisionally run into people who remember the game fondly. I only had one distributor sale but it was for most of my print run.
