This is the first edition of the stand-alone Star Hero RPG produced by Hero Games. This was the last product from Hero Games before the release of 4th edition.

Star Hero uses the Hero System, which is easy to learn and quick to use. The Hero System allows you to create characters exactly as you imagine them -- either directly from science fiction or from your own imagination. Star Hero is clearly written to introduce even novices to role playing games, while the open-ended Hero System offers a challenge to even the most experienced game players. Taken together, all Hero System games interlock to form an unequaled gaming environment.
