A Brechtian roleplaying game. Published by Greg Costikyan in an appendix to the scholarly volume Second Person.
This is an unfinished game, the Designer's Note reads:
I've never bothered to finish writing up acts II and III, since there patently seems no potential market for a work of this nature.
From the prefatory text in the game's rules (available online) -
Bestial Acts is different. It is a roleplaying game, exploiting the same tricks and techniques of other roleplaying games; but its purpose is didactic, rather than exploitative. It is explicitly and pugnaciously intellectual, based on the work of a mid-century German Marxist playwright who, however respected he may be in the academic theatrical community, is not precisely the hot licensing sensation of the year. It is wholly uncommercial, making no attempt to apeal to the bourgeois instinct for passive entertainment
