User summary:

Anima was written by Colin Ingham and published in Alarums & Excursions (Issue 196 - Dec 1991). Anima is a spirit-based world where the creation of permanent artifacts requires crafting of the spirit as well as the physical form of an object. The major cultural groups are human societies and anarchistic nomads. Metamorphs are common.

The game's setting was developed by the author in several articles before and after the major published rules.
