Drakar och Demoner Trudvang (7th & 8th Editions)

The seventh edition was an overhaul of the sixth edition of the staple Swedish RPG Drakar och Demoner. This edition gets rid of basic traits and gears the system much more towards Scandinavian folklore fairytales and Icelandic hero epics.
This Trudvang edition was the first boxed edition in a couple of years and contains Trudvangs hjältar (rule book) and Trudvangs stigar (world book), a map, dice and character sheets.

The rules have been simplified compared to the sixth edition with a reduced number of skills, a simpler magic system and easier character creation. Players can now spend skill point to buy specializations for most skill, which makes characters potentially more unique.

There are detailed descriptions and rules for six different religions in the book, compared to four in the previous edition.

The eight edition is a 30 years anniversary edition, as when released, it was 30 years since Drakar och Demoner was born.
